This weeks its 3 punches at allsorts. I have made a christmas card using a penny black image, papers are a mix of doodlebug and papermania. I have used a swirl punch, a die shape which i hope will count and a martha stewart punch.
I have also used some hobby house pearls and a crafters companion greeting.
Thank you very much queen of craft Kay Carley for my blog award. I am really pleased. I don't have a lot of followers but truly love my blog and get a real pleasure from those who pop by and leave a comment.
3 things i love about myself (i am not good at this bit):
Naughty sense of humour
my crafty obsessions!
A picture i love.....well it is above and is me at my sisters wedding. I lost a massive amount of weight to fit this dress and went from a size 20 in it to a size 14, i was told to look sexy and straddle the bentley and i am quite proud of how i look in it.
The challenge is punch away. I have used a penny black image coloured with brush markers and misted before stamping it out. I have punched and layered various papers and card and then added some coordinating pearls.
This time its distressing - not really my best area but i have had a go. I have used a penny plack stamp coloured with brush markers and stamped and layered this onto papers edged in distress ink and sanded colour core card stock some of which was run through the cuttlebug, some punches and pearls and voila or as Gordan would say "DONE"
This weeks challenge is Autumn Colours. I have used a penny black floral stamp, punches and some yellow, gold and green backgrounds that seem autumnul to me. I missed last weeks challenge but hope this weeks makes up for the missed posting!!
I have been away for a week but am back raring to go with the challenges.....
My craft partner in crime Sharon has awarded me my first blog award which i am truly chuffed about.
Apparently i now need to say why i started blogging and give it to 10 deserving crafters (very challenging).
So why the craftnut blog! I have always been crafty, when i was a little tot i loved glitter and chibbling according to my mum, have always enjoyed sewing and neddlepoint and tried most crafts at one time or another. I have made cards for a few years now and started blogging when i was looking at some of the work in Craft Stamper, googled some of the artists and discovered a new world with challenges. I started my first challenge with the Penny Black saturday challenge and have tried to enter every week since, along with some other favourites!
So who are my 10 favourites - well i got to 7 at the moment!
